Head Trainer : Natasha Althoff

Natasha Althoff began riding at the age of fourteen years old. She brought her horse, a purebred thoroughbred, through the grades of pony club where she did Grade 1 dressage and Grade 2 eventing. Her first dressage horse was a Friesian cross thoroughbred called The Carrock Tambo. Natasha has successfully taken Tambo from a horse that couldn't canter circles to Intermediate II level. Tambo is Natasha’s best teacher, together they have learned the Grand Prix movements and while many mistakes were made, she is grateful for the opportunity to learn and take a horse from the beginning level to the final level. Tambo enabled Natasha to be invited and made a member of the Victorian Young Rider, 'Riders of the future', Talent squad until she turned 21.

Horses for training

Introducing our newest member of the Ebony Park Team, Chrlotte Amby, who is here until November this year.

Charlotte in Denmark

We would like to introduce and welcome Charlotte, our new groom who has travelled all the way from Denmark to stay with us and experience Ebony Park and our Friesians!

Charlotte has been riding since she was ten (so for the last ten years), starting out eventing and mainly showjumping, but after a few bad falls and a developing passion, she decided to concentrate solely on dressage.

She says that dressage is more fun because you always have to improve, and it is great developing your skills along with those of your horse – every horse is different, and makes the challenge greater and more exciting! She has competed and trained to around medium level in dressage, and is very excited to be here at Ebony Park and under the instruction of Natasha!

Charlotte decided to travel to Australia due to her passion for horses and enjoyment of working with them, and also to develop as a person. She is available to train your horse throughout the week, already having taken on one of our agistees horses to teach him some manners, with the owner commenting "I must say Charlotte has done a fantastic job with my horse in such a short time. I took him out yesterday and he was actually a pleasure to ride."

Charlotte is also currently continuing the education of two or our green broken mares, who are rising 4 and rising 5 year olds. She is doing a fantastic job, and they are coming along really nicely. If you feel that your horse needs some tuning up or educating, please feel free to contact us!
