In the later part of 2011, a dream came true for me.
After a few years of dreaming, looking around many horse sites and chatting with many horse lovers (including the Ebony Park girls) in the quest for my perfect horse, I found her – “Misty” Mystic Shadows Miss Mira D. I bought her as a 2yr in Jan 2011, and had her trucked down from Wodonga.
I have worked and played with her, even laying with her in the paddock. My dream was close – all I needed was to have her broken in, so I could spend many more years riding and having fun with this great horse, who has an quiet and loving temperament (I call her my Labrador).
As earlier mentioned, I had spoken with the girls from Ebony Park, and felt that there was no second choice on who was going to take Misty to the next stage. They had always been helpful and professional, and I also plan on breeding her to one of their stallions at some stage in the future.
Late in 2011 we arrived at Ebony Park and started the process. Within 2 weeks Natasha had me on the back of my dream horse – and wow, what a feeling!
2 weeks later she was ready to come home. They worked tirelessly on the horse and now I’m reaping the benefits. Also I got some riding tips… he he
Now Misty has been home for a few weeks, and we have gone from riding in the arena to the paddock, on the roads and into the bush.
Thank you to all the staff at Ebony Park for your love and devotion to Misty, and for making a dream come true. I cant thank you enough.
